IMN's primary objective is to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." Therefore in season or out of season we take every available opportunity to share the love of God in a holistic manner. Our dynamic local church pastors keep preaching, teaching, and planting churches. Pursuing the God given vision, IMN has been planting churches all across North India leading many to the kingdom of God. What started as just one congregation in 1980 in Delhi has now grown into a network of about fifty churches in six North Indian states one Union Territory. Various allied ministries bolster church planting. IMN registered another society The Full Gospel Church of God (FGC) at Delhi under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 vide Regn. no. S-12746 of 1982 to regulate coordinate activities pertaining to church planting.
Our main goal is to reach the unreached of Northern India through native missionaries with the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ and plant churches. These native missionaries can easily adapt to the culture, language and social customs of India. For years, missionaries from South India travelled to the North to preach the good news and pioneer churches. Today, the situation has changed. We have committed people who hail from North India and they are very effective in evangelism, because they speak Hindi, the regional languages and easily adapt to the culture. They are also willing to face adversities in mission fields. Through these missionaries, IMN's ministry has penetrated areas where the Gospel has never been heard. Churches are being planted, some even in slums, tribal areas and leper colonies.
Having God’s heart towards the needy!
Care Aid is the philanthropic arm of The Full Gospel Church of God (FGC), IMN’s church planting segment.
God’s servant, founder of IMN, Rev. Mathew Oommen, had a special concern to reach out to the poor and the neglected. Care Aid is an initiative born out of this concern to extend God’s love to the people who are confined to the lower or peripheral edge of the society.
IMN organize medical camps to provide free medical check-ups and distribute medicines free of cost to those who cannot afford them. Nearly 2500 people have benefited in and around Delhi at places like Suraj Park, Balswa Dairy and Badli.
Leprosy patients are being taken care of for the last 12 years. There are 75 leprosy patients at Peera Garhi and 32 patients at Shalimar Bagh in the capital territory of Delhi. We provide them food items, medicines and clothes.
We seek to uplift slum children by providing them free education, food and clothes. Children living in slums at Paschim Vihar, Raghubir Nagar and Rohini in Delhi are the beneficiaries of our charity.
Projects like Tailoring Training Centres are also underway to train people in skills that would enable them to be financially independent. One such centre is running successfully at Sikhandrabad (Uttar Pradesh). Free tuition classes are also running at various locations for children who belong to the marginalized sections of the society.
